Sarah’s five year anniversary
Dedicated Fort Knox team member Sarah McConchie celebrated her 5 year anniversary with us this February.
We celebrated her milestone and proudly presented her with her 5 year pin, a cake and a bouquet of flowers.
Sarah first joined us as the assistant manager at our Dandenong site and since then has been an integral part of our team. Known for her bubbly personality, she is very well liked and respected by the team and is friends with a number of them outside of work.
She currently works part time and helps us across a few sites including Dandenong and Keysborough.
Sarah has been a huge supporter of Sleep at the G and is participating in her 4th sleep out this year. She has been a great supporter of many of Fort Knox’s charity events. She has a big heart and is always willing to put her hand up to help others.
We asked Sarah a few questions to find out more about her time at Fort Knox.
What do you enjoy most about life at Fort Knox?
I love the people I work with! I enjoy coming to work 😊
What are some of you best memories with us?
All our awesome events Christmas parties, bowling nights, trivia, sleep at the G. The reason why I like sleep at the G in particular is that I love being able to do something and contribute to the community. It reminds me of how lucky we actually are with a roof over our heads and family that are there for support.
What is the weirdest or funniest thing that has happened to you?
Funniest thing that has probably happened is when I was working at Dandenong and we decided to scare Mario (Wally’s employee) with a fake snake while he was weeding the site.
What do you enjoy doing outside of Fort Knox?
Love spending time with my family and friends
What is your favourite food?
A good seafood platter
What is the best piece of advice or quote you have ever received?
Be kind to everyone, you never know what they might be going through.
Congratulations Sarah for five years at Fort Knox!
